Latin Name : Quercus coccinea

Scarlet Oak has big, deeply lobed leaves and a big rounded open habit. An excellent lawn or street tree – just be sure to give it the room to handle its mature size. Attracts butterflies and songbirds and the acorns are eaten by many birds and mammals. The common name refers to the brilliant fall foliage.
