Latin Name: Diervilla lonicera ‘Ru-Bee Wren’
Tough and drought tolerant, this dense, spreading nativar performs well in sun or partial shade. Showy, crimson foliage emerges in spring followed by nectar-filled yellow flowers that attract hummingbirds and support bees in late June. Its glowing orange fall foliage with songbird-sustaining fruit in fall makes it an eco-friendly alternative to Burning Bush.
Also known as Mountain Bush Honeysuckle, or Hairy Bushy Honeysuckle.
