In-Depth Description

Considered by many to be the best of the red flowered family of Coral Honeysuckles, Major Wheeler’s large clusters of deep red 2″ tubular flowers with yellow throats held above blue-green disease resistant foliage is of the same native Coral Honeysuckle species. Native Coral Honeysuckle is not an aggressive vine, unlike the white and yellow flowered invasive Japanese honeysuckle and is an excellent choice for fences, trellises, or latticework.
