They are events organized by many of our great partner organizations – we are not typically involved in their coordination. Litchfield 250 Conservation Challenge – celebrating America’s 250th through conservation, sponsored by a variety of local conservation partners led by Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy.
Morris
A newly launched Bantam Watershed Protection Pledge from the Bantam Watershed Coalition, includes partners not just from Morris but throughout the watershed in Litchfield, Goshen and Torrington.
Torrington

Watertown

The Fiends of Main Street in Winsted are hosting their annual Earth Day Clean Up on Arpil 25th, 2026. Click below to learn more.
Woodbury
Woodbury has a wide variety of programs celebrating Earth Day. Including their Earth Day Celebration Sat April 25th, 2026 at Hollow Park, 43 Hollow Rd in Woodbury from 11am-4PM.
Additionally, there is a recycle your closet program. Sustainable Style is accepting donations of gently used clothing, accessories and shows of all ages and styles until April 20, 2026. Donations boxes are located at both the Mitchell Elementary School and Woodbury Public Library.
